{"id":289,"date":"2013-09-09T14:20:00","date_gmt":"2013-09-09T14:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pim.famnit.upr.si\/wp\/?p=289"},"modified":"2021-11-17T11:18:18","modified_gmt":"2021-11-17T11:18:18","slug":"a-sign-of-a-keybord-and-a-droplet-at-the-bottom-of-the-laptop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pim.famnit.upr.si\/wp\/?p=289","title":{"rendered":"A sign of a keybord and a droplet at the bottom of the laptop"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m intrigued by a variety of signs I see around and try to understand them, think if there&#8217;s a better way to mark things, etc. For example a <a href=\"index.php?\/archives\/156-Symbol-of-a-traffic-camera-signs-do-and-will-they-make-sense-to-new-generations.html\">sign for a speed camera<\/a>, <a href=\"index.php?\/archives\/276-Do-you-know-what-is-the-sign-for-elevator-or-lift-Or-how-should-it-be.html\">elevator<\/a> or <a href=\"index.php?\/archives\/274-Airplane-seat-row-indication-signs-good-and-bad-designs.html\">airplane seats<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I found this one at the bottom of my Lenovo X61s laptop. Lenovo has a long tradition to label all the screws what they are for. So one doesn&#8217;t end up unscrewing the whole thing just to take out the keyboard for example. On my Lenovo there&#8217;s also a <strong>keyboard sign with a droplet on the top<\/strong> with no screw besides.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pim.famnit.upr.si\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/IMG_20130303_102749.jpg\" class=\"no_float\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pim.famnit.upr.si\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/IMG_20130303_102756.jpg\" class=\"no_float\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I thought that this might be for spills and after some research I found that with T60 series Lenovo redesigned the keyboard so that <strong>if some liquid is spilled over it is caught by rims<\/strong> under the keys <strong>and drained out through the canals<\/strong> at the bottom of the keyboard.&nbsp; I wouldn&#8217;t dare to try it though!<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/W7mc59EEoP0\" allowfullscreen=\"true\"><\/iframe><br \/> <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m intrigued by a variety of signs I see around and try to understand them, think if there&#8217;s a better way to mark things, etc. For example a sign for a speed camera, elevator or airplane seats.
