The video below shows some of the ideas from the paper. At the time (after reading <a href=\"http:\/\/portal.acm.org\/citation.cfm?id=1005363\">Ravisio&#8217;s paper<\/a>) the desktop seamed a great space for managing files. I imagined something like (temporarily suspended) <a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20080119202912\/rchi.raskincenter.org\/index.php?title=Home\">Archy<\/a> &#8211; a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.maxkiesler.com\/2007\/11\/01\/the-zoom-demo\/\">zoomable interfaced desktop<\/a> (taken form <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.umd.edu\/hcil\/pad++\/\">Pad<\/a>). But with files and applications.
